    did you listen to what I said at 1:35? lol... as far as the cam, I'd have to ask billy dinsmore, he built the motor and then rebuilt about 25 yrs later..the leak down after valve adjust and marvel.. was single digits..

    I read closer and listened to your comment, thus the edit...

    I was curious if it was a solid roller or hydraulic roller (in reference to the valve lash / rockers being too tight)... My assumption is a solid roller if the lash adjustment made such a dramatic difference...

    Then a few years later, I picked up this 21' RC from Lonnie Fluent. Fun boat, but only had a tandem axle trailer, so I don't know if it really counted as a Schiada. I will say that running upriver was a little unnerving with the fixed v-drive running gear. It didn't draft much, but without the ability to trim anything? Yeah, there was a pucker factor.

    I threw the OT's on so I could run the valves after I swapped out rockers. Couldn't get the covers off with the Gil Marine manifolds on. Freaked some of the Schiada crew out with that pic.
