Yes. Fires at the closest point were 6 miles south of us. I know other members evacuated in San Marcos and I hope they are OK and their houses are safe. Only issue by me is the ash in the air, very heavy today.

Walked out of my office for lunch and I smell smoke all the way up here in Ontario. Not sure if there is a closer fire now.

Yup.
Chatted with Steve Royal who is in evac region in San Marcos last night, he stayed home. Sent me pics of like 8 engines parked on the street behind him, standing guard in case of flareup. Most of the fire had been driven east of him by then.
