What kind of job, professional, trade, what would you guys be looking for, there's been a few big companies that are relocating here as we speak, Hertz is moving their corporate offices here, 400 new white collar jobs in the 80K range and a some other good companies.

I am an IT Support Specialist and my GF is an Accountant. One thing is she is afraid of hurricanes...

You guys shouldn't have a problem finding work, those jobs are golden almost anywhere.................there's only been one "H" in this area in the last thirty years, Charley in 2005 and with hurricanes you have days of notice, unlike tornado's or earthquakes that hit immediately, explain that to her, when you have days notice that it's coming I'm sure you're both smart enough to get in your car and drive North out of it's way, that's the last thing on my mind when we moved here................lmao.

Cool and when she brings up about the house thing most are concrete block and are built to with stand "H"s and that's what you have insurance for, I've never slept better in my life, sounds like a visit should convince her, good luck.
