did you listen to what I said at 1:35? lol... as far as the cam, I'd have to ask billy dinsmore, he built the motor and then rebuilt about 25 yrs later..the leak down after valve adjust and marvel.. was single digits..

I read closer and listened to your comment, thus the edit...
I was curious if it was a solid roller or hydraulic roller (in reference to the valve lash / rockers being too tight)... My assumption is a solid roller if the lash adjustment made such a dramatic difference...
so I got the 21 rc shiada, just how I wanted it..added an axel and new fenders and paint, got into an out of pocket house build and my pockets got emptied... so had to sell itAttachment 65820Attachment 65821Attachment 65822
Then a few years later, I picked up this 21' RC from Lonnie Fluent. Fun boat, but only had a tandem axle trailer, so I don't know if it really counted as a Schiada. I will say that running upriver was a little unnerving with the fixed v-drive running gear. It didn't draft much, but without the ability to trim anything? Yeah, there was a pucker factor. :smilies_mit_hut019:
I threw the OT's on so I could run the valves after I swapped out rockers. Couldn't get the covers off with the Gil Marine manifolds on. Freaked some of the Schiada crew out with that pic.

[QUOTE=2FORCEFULL;165006]Soooo,... now it gets a little hairy.....and heated...I did end up buy'n the boat...but again, not as described..I had to shut the video off as to not self incriminate ...
lol....Fuc... the things people will say to try to get you to come buy some thing...we did end up putting it in the water..it was taking on water bad...and it was starting to over heat , so I told him to shut it off and get it back on the trailer before it sunk..
Sounds like you weren't listening!!
