at ~650 Lbs it should be a good solution but................it weighs 25% more than the 300XS and makes 25% more power.........

Even odds but I bet the extra HP more than makes up for the weight.

The price tag on the 557 alone is enough to scare people off. Concept had a 44' CC at Ft. Lauderdale with a pair of the 557's on the back. Top of the line boat. The price increase going to the 557's over 3 300 Mercs was over $200K and it was about 4 mph faster overall. $50K/mph? That's a big step. Originally Posted by 314joey
