They showed Folsom Lake on the local news here tonight. Said it's becoming a tourist attraction because of everything that is now exposed due to the low water levels.

    We need some rain quick.

I can imagine, Shasta is like that also....lots of stuff buried down under that lake, old towns, old SP right of way...more than Folsom I believe...as for Don Pedro, water bosses took a field trip out there this week, think they might have been shocked at how low it is...

Photos of the old SP (Southern Pacific) mainline tunnel which has not seen the light of day since the lake was filled.....

From tunnel 6 which has not been exposed since 2008, and is still not....notice the black stains on the ceiling? That is stained in there for all time from the thousands and thousands of steam engines that have pounded their way through there for almost a century....

Tommy should like this....there a LOT more under Shasta than there is at Folsom, no offence GRADS..I find this kind of stuff fascinating....if I lived closer to either lake, I would be out there all the time....Take a read on this...
