My Xmas Gift Last Night

The morning after I dropped the boat off in Parker, we drove to Tucson to visit my mom that is in assisted living on what will most definitley be her last Christmas. After spending Xmas eve with her, it was back to the hotel. I couldn't get in the room because the second set of room cards didn't work, and the 3rd ones didn't either. The night Manager tried her master card key and no luck. Then it was a 2 hr. wait in the truck only to hear she couldn't get a hold of anyone to respond, and just getting another room wasn't an option because my medication was in my room. As she came back with a hammer to break the window, she was relieved to see I had got into the room, with the help of a Starbucks gift card. My Xmas gift came when she upgrated us to a suit for the 2 nights, and only charging us 1 night at the room rate. NICE
