I got a visit after a river trip and thought I was getting served for a divorce, only to find my best friend got crushed under a car. My condolences to you. I still hate the fact that he is gone. No more river buddy. Do some backflips for him, you rock.

Very sad to hear this. I remember when Danny got hurt attempting to set the speed record, and my aunt was one of many that helped nurse Danny back to health.
Unbelievably strong person. This is a shock.

Prayers out to the entire family. RIP and Godspeed.

I believe he was shooting for 130 mph after this run in Oakland, the one at LBMS was when he got wrapped up in the chute lines. The doctors did NOT have high hopes for recovery after that one.
