The Gorge, Colorado River, few miles above Lake Havasu by boat. Sometimes see wild donkeys and big horn sheep boating through there.

Yes like Carbon said Colorado above Havasu and the 2 hot spots right now for food and drink are Topock and Pirates Cove:

We did stop by, I think it's Copper Canyon, not much going when we drove through so we went further up the Lake and beached out hot rental boat, it killed me to have a beautiful boat at home and pay to rent a cruddy boat.
