    Raptor Tires

So I have almost 46K miles on this thing already. The BFG T/A's are still around 50%, but they're starting to wear funny. And I'm having a hard time keeping them balanced.

So I'm looking for replacements. This truck has seen dirt exactly 1X. But I dont want to go 100% street tires. And I dont think I want to put BFG's back on it.

    Suggestions??

X2. I ran BFG's for years until I bought my first set of Grapplers and now that's all I run.

I was a BFg at die hard. After the last couple sets doing the same thing you described. Went with toyo open country MT. And have to say they are the best tire I have ever owned. My truck sees the dirt as frequent as yours

I bought Nitto's after 18000 miles they were shot, my son got about 26000 out of his

I'm guessing the BFG's could do close to 70k if I keep them. But 99.9% freeway miles. And the balance issues. I might do another 10K (2 1/2 months) then start looking.

I like the Nitto's, but I think they're too agressive for 99% freeway use. Maybe the Geo's.

Maybe slicks on the back and have a little fun in the Keys

I had just over 10K on my last set of Grapplers and they still looked brand new when I sold the truck. Rotate every 3K and air pressure is the key.

Hard to beat the miles you can get out of the BFG’s but they are just too hard to keep balanced.
