Personally I see no reason for the negativity, comments, or jabs that were made. They do nothing constructive. They only ruffle feathers and cast shadows on someone's hard work and efforts to do something that no one else has done. So I've deleted all of them. I hate deleting shit, but if that's what I need to do make a point, then I will.
I'm not going to ban Grads, this time. But I am going to ask Grads to rethink his future comments. Especially when they do nothing constructive and appear only to be made to ruffle feathers.
As Ross said, unless you're out there in the water racing or running next to them, you don't have a leg to stand on.

No problem. Let me rephrase my original comment. I think a 30'-38' cat with triple outboards would be ideal for this run. A light boat that sips the gas and those outboards can run at full throttle all day long without even a hiccup.

Dont know the "Official Times" but they left SF at 7:42AM PST and arrived at Marina Del Rey about 3:17PM and Long Beach about 3:55PM
about 8 hrs 13 minutes ?
Didnt beat any existing records...
But is a "record" for a 50' Catamaran by the Marani Sponsorship organization.... so everybody wins!!!!!

Saw this on their FB page: #Outlaw is now Marani Bell world record holders, San Francisco to Long beach 8:15:05.
