Maybe they'll let me extend my X-country flight for my commercial. It's not like I need to do all the little flights they have scheduled.

    What, are you a pilot?

I have a commercial instrument ticket for sling wing with a S70 type rating. Since I retired from the military, I'm going back to do the airplane transitions. The school is having a hard time understanding that with 2000 hrs, I don't need to do all the little x-cntry flights to get my ratings. They are a 141 school and are struggling with the fact that a transition isn't the same as learning to fly. If they want me to fly x-cntry they should let me go somewhere fun. Like to a boat race.

That was my original plan. But after thinking about it I decided to make everything separate. I was concerned that any movement of the motor plate and the block might create an oil leak. So I thought it best to keep them separated.
The gap between the three pieces is much tighter than it looks on the CAD file. .090 distance, so it will look close to being one piece.
