Proper use of a Fire Truck

Still not acceptable. They have volunteers and interns that can do this for free in less expensive vehicles that don't take up 12 parking spaces or when at In N Out, half the street. What's that thing get in mpg? 1mpg?

I looked at more fire department websites and that question is posted on every single one guess they get a lot of the same complaints. They all pretty much have the same answer except a few said they use those trips to the grocery store as training for the newer firefighters to get acquainted with driving and maneuvering the truck so during an emergency they will be ready to go.
