    There are several videos on Youtube of people bringing ships in like this for demolition. Who needs a dry dock??? LOL.

    There was a great story on one of the news channels on the dismantling of ships. Was an interesting documentary.

    Most of it get scrapped or are they able to re-use some parts in new builds?

    It doesn't make sense why they would beach a perfectly good ship....it obviously floats and runs. What is it worth scrapped? Seems to me someone would buy it if it is running.
