Just so we're clear here. I'm not afraid to go, and resent the statement that I am. My most recent experience with the other site has me not wanting to be around any of then, especially the owner of the site. I'm sure he would do his best to take the low road. Someone has to be the adult. As GRADS said, it ain't the old boat show, hardly any builders will be there, and I can get ropes and rigging anywhere....hope this explains it a little...I have no doubt though, that once those guys figured out who I was...nothing good would happen after that. Froggy thrives on drama, I don't.

T no one will force you to go. I would probably do the same if I felt like you do.
But in regard to the show, sure it isn't what it used to be. But you have to start somewhere. And there will be a few manufacturers there, and kudos to those who are making the expense and making the effort to show up. We will be there to support them and do whatever we can to help an industry that is fighting to stay alive. Without the manufacturers everyone's choices would be limited if they ever decided to buy a new boat or even take their existing boat to the OEM for service or upgrades. Personally I think this particular show is the turning point.

That might be the mentality towards him on the other site, but is certainly not the mentality towards him here. He is well liked here, by myself and many others...I think the other site could do a lot better at how they treat people than what the posse over there has done so far. A LOT BETTER...

I agree, and if we still lived in the LA area, we would be there....but the gas and all to do that...I can't justify it for a show that looks to be packed with bayliners and rollcage boats ...lol.

Hey, don't knock the roll bar boats till you try them. They're a lot more fun to wakeboard behind than a Cat.
There, that should put 5 gallons of gas in this thread. :p
