I paid almost 50k for my 335i in 2010. It's a 2009 worth 29k if I'm lucky. Once you drive off the lot take off 50%. I won't buy new again!

In 2008 we bought a brand new BMW 750LI for right around 90K. We tried to trade it in 9 months later with only 8,000 miles on it and the dealership was only willing to give us 58K. I was pissed. I asked them to explain to me how my car dropped 32K in value in only 9 months.

Thats not a FORD Mustang.... Its a ROUSH... there is a bit (not much) of a difference. and the price tag tells you that.

I'll never buy new again. My last 4 trucks were all brand new. I'll never do that again. I can't believe a new Silverado 1500 is almost $50k. That's a lot of money for a half ton.
In the last year I've bought a car, truck and a boat and paid about the same all together than buying one brand new truck. If you can get over not having a warranty or the new car smell, buy used. I look at buying a new car as pissing money away. Why pay $35k+ (after tax and fees) plus interest on a loan for that Ford you posted when you can buy a used 5 series for the same price?

Everything is going up. Why the automakers need to pay for the increases in wages, the bailout money they took, not to mention the healthcare they are going to have to start paying for. I'm glad I won't need a new car any time soon.

Lets us not forget inflation. Those printers have been running non-fucking-stop.

I hated when someone wanted to trade in their car less than a few years old, they never could fathom the fact their car was so devalued in such a short period of time. The 750's were one of the worst.....the market for used ones was soft unless it was priced low enough. I'd guess you got a pretty good discount on the car new....I know we had $10k or more in factory incentive on them regularly.
Or look at it this way, if you were wanting to buy a used one would you pay close to what a new one would cost you?
I love my wife, my wife loves me.:encouragement:

You gotta read the sticker. Lot of times on cars like the Mustang, they will add 10-20,000 markup to the car. Seen it done. As for the cars....fuck new any more. I go to CarMax. I can get a car there with 8000 miles on it, still under factory warranty, still with the new car smell for a fraction of what it costs new. Like I said, read the sticker.
