I just read " Unbroken" and am always so impressed by what the the WW2 airmen did. I didn't know the professor was a B 24 crewmember- pretty cool

The Professor was my hero! Why? Because I just KNEW he was nailing BOTH Ginger and Mary Ann on the side!
I mean , who else would? Giligan? That's a laugh...Skipper? Tub O' lard..don't think so...Mr. Howell? Old creepy, not so much. Yep, the Prof was gettin' it all back in the day!
At least that's how it went in my head.

Damn....the Professor was very cool dude.....I saw him interviewed a number of times in later years and he was a great guy!!
