This is my car, probably worse than the car she was in. I walked away with less than a bruise to my collar bone. I was wearing my seat belt.

Sad that people do not wear seat belts. I have a friend "rodeo tough guy". Doesn't need to wear a seat belt because he rides bulls and seat belts wrinkle his shirts. His day will come, and he will be missed.

Seat belts save lives. Unfortunately I had experienced it first hand. Wearing the seat belt, I still flattened out a Grant gt steering wheel, and bent the steering column up. I was hanging on for dear life. Seat belt still tried to give me a c-section, but it kept me from going under the dash. This was in a full size 1 ton, 4x4, crew cab , 86 Chevy dually. Engine went into the firewall, frame bent and taco. Police said it was good thing I was in a big truck.
