How deep is folsom where the plane is supposed be? Is folsom man made or natural? I cant imagine with the progression of recovery tech that this plane and bodies weren't recoverable since 65.

Folsom was man made back in 1955. The lake is probably 250-300' in the deepest part. The lake level is down over 100'. I've lived here for 35 years and had never heard of this until now. I know some local Sheriffs that have sonar equipment...might give them a call to see if they are interested in finding it.

Sounds like it would be a bad ass find. It would cost 10K + to get that plane up to the surface. A 200 ft dive would be taxing. U need a radio controlled submarine camera deal. That would be bad ass.

After talking to the family member and where she told me they think it's located, I don't think it is in area that is very deep right now.

Believe 1/2 of what you see and nothing of what you hear.

Already miss the 310/562
I'm interested in knowing how a 2-4" rain impacts the water level, keep us posted Grads...

My search is over. Bummer! The lake has gone up 12 feet and is continuing to go up at almost a foot an hour. I felt like I was so close.
