Jerry, it look as though the guy that won the World Outboard Championship with a 3 outboard Rayson ran it in the Parker 9 hour as well.
2nd outboard, right smack in the middle of a bunch of Switzer wings. Not a bad showing for V bottom.

Maybe it's time to switch your program.

I knew Sally from school in Hacienda Heights ...didn't realize at the time how much she accomplished in water skiing!
Pretty cool being pulled by Panic Mouse!

Not only did that girl hauls, she was very easy to look at. Not sure why, but she left the sport early. She could have accomplished a lot more.
I don't believe she was pulled by the Panic Mouse. Stearns was. I think she was pulled by Bob Nordskogs Viking Spirit.
Bob put up the big show with a couple box vans, bunch of crew wearing shop shirts, banners, the whole deal. He made it quite the deal. At that time, Nordskog Marine Center was building the engines for the Panic Mouse, so they used it to pull Stearns.

Yep, very pretty with the blond hair and the long legs .... I remember that part well ... I think close to 6 ft also. She was a little ahead of me in HS and after she graduated that was the last I seen or heard of her. I'm always looking to see if she pops up at any of these ski events but I don't think she does. I thought maybe the Catalina Race since she is a past champion.
