We started the pickle 8 years ago. It's a little fun tradition we start 5 days before Christmas. Dad hides the pickle in the tree and the kids well now the kid finds it and gets a gift! Anyone else do the pickle ornament game in their house?

Wendi and this thread crack me up!!
It reminds me of being a young puppy headed out on a Saturday night and my mom asking in a typical mommie voice, "where you going and when will you be home?"
To the beach to watch the submarine races and I'll be home when they are over.
She would give me this perplexed look and ask the dumbest questions you can imagine, and my dad would be rolling on the floor.

Best was when I got home around midnight and she'd yell from their room, "did you have a good time, and who won?"
Ya mom, great time, and I won. my dad would yell out with a chuckle in his voice "Good for you son"
