they did the same to me..about a day later, they showed up at the house with a limited motion machine..my knee had a pain killer IV plumbed into it..lasted for about a week..then the Doc yanked it out...I had alot of damage to my knee, so PT was slow..I had to learn how to walk again..I've had multiply surgeries since then..the ACL is holding up fine. but now I'm bone on bone as all or most of the cartilage is gone..On my last surgery, Doctor tells me thats it..nothing more we can do until I get Total Knee Replacement..So I wait...sometimes the knee works good and sometimes it doesn't..and works good doesn't mean I get to run or ski anymore..It means I get to walk...Somedays pain pills are your best friend...I can tell when it's gonna rain too..the knee will "kindly" remind you of a upcoming weather change.....

They may as well just replace it all, from your hip down past your knee... One long slice from top to the shin bone... Some nice engineered composite pieces...

With oil bath joints, filled with LUCAS....

I thought they would do that with me too, but the Dr. I have says they've had better results (tighter knee) with no movement after surgery for a week followed by gradual movement that I initiate myself 2 minutes a day 3 times a day. I have to reach 90 degrees after 6 weeks. They did side by side studies on rehab and they swear by it.

Unfortunately for me I contracted a blood clot which has slowed down my rehab. The clot makes you swell up and then you can't move very well.

    This is my DOCTOR.
