These work very well, from Costco!
Took them to a party last weekend and they stayed warm for 4+ hours. Key is food hot and heat the bag of liquid in microwave per instructions.

Throw it on your engine block when you check in. That'll keep it warm.

Go on hotels.com Costa Mesa or Newport beach. There are hotels on MacArthur but that is further away. It depends how close you want to be to location.
