Solvang is probably the best place to stay. Many, many hotels. Most hotels have winery maps. Most are within a 15 minute drive from Solvang. Not many cops but if you are worried there are town car services that take you where you want. Eat breakfast at Paula's Pancake house in Solvang. Have dinner at Chumash casino. Get a players card and its free.

Bridlewood winery is my favorite for scenery. Kalyra winery is the most chill place. Can't go wrong with going to downtown Los Olivos. There are many store fronts featuring local wineries
