    That is really sad what they did at Lake Berryessa. I've been going there since late 60's.

    Yup. Some of the earliest pics I can recall of me boating were at Berryessa, early 70's. The shore line looks the same then and now. Different feel these days though.

    X2. I learned to boat and ski on Berryessa. My family owned a restaurant/bar there.

    Aren't these levels normal for folsom? By spring it will be back up... no?? Isnt the lake a direct feeder for the farms up there?

    It does get low in the winter but this is unusually low. It would take a really big winter snowfall/rainfall to fill it completely up., but it has happened before. When they originally built the dam in 1955 they expected it to take 5 years to fill. I guess they had a huge winter that year and it filled in 1 year. It's currently at 386'...when it drops to 360' it dead pools which means no water going out.....I hope the DLB likes salt water.
