Only at retail banks such as Wells, Chase and maybe BofA. They can be at smaller business banks as well although we go for smarter, more intelligent tellers with customer service skills.

I failed, it was actually a little embarrassing since I was only 30' away filling out a deposit slip. They were hot, I think it's a requisite at WF.

Believe or not I've never used an ATM for deposit. Hardly use cash anymore either, everything is CC and pay off each month. Direct deposit on paycheck and dividends.
This was for a live check, and that's rare for me.
