Roughly the same time that boat was built, Robert McCulloch(who founded Lake Havasu City) had a similar Riva built with twin Ferraris. Probably because he saw this one
It was dry slung in a water garage at site 6 launch ramp, which at the time McCulloch owned every square inch of what was then a peninsula, now the island. I saw the boat twice. Once around 1970 during the World Outboard Championships which McCulloch was the sole sponsor, and again when it was the first boat to pass thru the channel on opening day in 1971. Always wonder what happened to that boat.
