So I've been thinking about selling or trading my Magic deck boat for a nice tritoon Southbay or Bennington with a big ass outboard engine. My family said not yet we're to young I said it has nothing to do with age. I think I would have a better time on a tritoon ie. no more anchoring, alot easer to wipe down the boat, now I could bbq on the boat.
So what can a Magic deck boat do that a new bad ass tritoon can't?

Sounds like you need better/more friends on your boat. Get them to wipe it down and set up the BBQ on the beach

Tough call I have owned a bad ass pontoon and we had a shit load of fun with it. I would not replace my boat with a toon but I can see one in the future for taking people out etc. Ours had a big Merc rode nice was quiet but offered no protection from the elements.I have also been looking at outboatds as a second boat time will tell.If you get a high dollar toon they are hard to clean also ,lots of ins and outs places for dirt and water spots it was a job.

If I had a place on the river and my wife was cool with it I’d be all over it.

Maybe pick up a cheap 18’ – 21’ for a little hot rod.

Actually I'd probably do it even if my wife wasn't cool with it......
