This will scare some of you, this is the kind of boat that my parents bought when I was 12, it's a 16' Arkansas Traveler w/40hp Johnson on it, it was the first and only boat they ever bought and it's what got me hooked on boating, learned to ski on the Mississippi dodging barges, that's nut now.

I really wanted that boat but the timing wasn't right. Not sure what it sold for but I remember thinking the asking price seemed fair. If I get rid of the Daytona I would love to build one of these.

There's a 1998 Spectre 30 over on the OSO classifieds that looks pretty cherry for $48k. Seems like someone could steal it for a good price, pep up the motors, through some shorter lowers on it and have a pretty sweet ride!
