Whats interesting, is the story of Allison Arngrim, the girl who played Nellie on little house. She was easily recognized in town as a child and she said people would spit on her when she was out and about. She never, even into adulthood, was able to shake the evil girl Nellie typecast and as a result, her career stagnated and she was not able to ever work again. The same thing happened to Tina Louise, Ginger from Gilligans Island......she got typecast and was never able to get a good part again. That's the dirty little hidden secret of Hollywood, there are some roles you can never escape.....they follow you.
