Will this work on light to medium oxidation? If not...do you have a preferred product for that?

I have been using the Meguiars gel stuff, and it works ok...I have also used Boat Candy - and I know folks swear by it, but I haven't had good luck with it.

application is the key to the product...if you need a heavy cut, you have to do that first....

look at my other thread on cut buff, the boat needed wet sanding when I got it,, then this final step..
