Yes they call it the Hardy Party - Hot Boat Weekend
It's been going on for about 20 years from what I heard. I've been going to it for 6 years. The cove is where all the really good partying goes on. The sandbar is we're a lot of the guys do hot passes and some racing. The racing has died down a bit in the last few years tho. It's still a great time you will see all kinds of boats. Still the best boat meet of the year here in Michigan in my opinion. It's always the weekend after Labor Day.
