They sit a lil higher than you'd think. And since your filling the holes with rubber, less water splashes through them making them wet. How about when the boat is on the trailer? Do you board, load/unload the boat via swim step?

thxs for the infor and no I don't load or unload from back only the sides my hull sits low on trailer and can easily stand on trailer and set stuff on the floor.so bottom line is if the billet ones are out of the water we would need to remember to splash water on them lol because my teak ones I have now are 1-1 1/2 off the water
