Might have something to do with the name, "Hot Boat Quarterly" and not "Hot Boat Magazine" even though I have a copy of a magazine that say's "Hot Boat" on it.

Hot Boat quarterly was around in the mid to late 60s and was bought or forced out by Powerboat and didnt refund subscriber money it didnt last long.Hot Boat started as a trade paper in the 80s called Popular Performance Boat.PPB was purchased by Chuck and Dottie Pierce it was probably around late 80s early 90 when they changed to a magazine format and was no longer in paper form like cycle news.
