    Same thing happened in my area a couple summers ago.
    Rented 'toon too.
    Son was dangling feet over the bow.
    Dad couldn't swim...

    I just cannot imagine
    :(
    Such a sad thing and SO easily preventable.
    I have yelled at a few doing that same on my lake and get told to "f" off pretty much.
    Just HATE it!!
    Also see cuddy boats with kids 1/2 out the bow hatches, or dangling legs under railings, or the proposing rig with a crowd leaning into the windshield.
    Just asking for trouble.

    Luckily I have not seen any injuries in over 10 years.
    Hopefully it will stay that way too !!!!

    During Desert Storm I still saw it over and over again,,,,as they say you can't fix stupid!
