    Performance boating sure has changed. I remember when getting something new for your boat meant maybe a new intake, carb(s), headers, possibly a cam change...it wasn't THAT long ago was it? A stereo or speakers weren't even a part of that boating world. Cabin cruisers had stereos. But then, I'm 61, and the word "performance boat" has morphed to mean something different than what it used to.

    I guess all that depends on the boater and who you talk to. Chris and I are in our early 30's and would side with you on this topic.
