Cash can be involved... $5, $20, $50, $100. Doesn't matter. Winner takes all or $X for first place, $X for second, etc.

Given that it appears to be the first time playing for many, I suggest a low buy-in or just playing for bragging rights. From my experience, though, the only downside with this is that some lose interest half way thru season and just stop playing.

I've seen the loss of interest happen. Who would be in for money? Who would hold the money? If we do money I'd vote for a 1st and 2nd place payout. If we don't do money then we should figure out some sort of winning prize. Maybe we could all throw in some sort of boating swag or something like that? It would have to be worth while! Any thoughts?

I'm in....How, whom and when do we pay?

I agree with...Framer1 ... $100 the first go around might be a little much. We could start out with $25 or $50 and go from there. I believe RADRVR is planning on being the commissioner of the league. Does anyone have a preference of a Yahoo or ESPN league? I like Yahoo, but I have been using it for a few years now. RR we probably won't start until late summer probably Aug. We would draft our teams and then play among the 10 or 12 of us that sign up.

I'm happy to be commissioner. Yahoo format is 8 Team, 10 Team, 12 Team or 14 Team, so we will need a couple of more players.

To get started I created a Standard League in Yahoo. It's named HB Sandbar. For those that want in, you can join via the link below. Sign up, poke around, create a clever team name or use your HB member name. Ask questions if you have them and I will try to answer to the best of my ability.

The draft is tentatively schedule for Aug. 19th at 9:00 a.m. You can Autopick Draft (Yahoo will make the intelligent choice for you) or Live Draft (every team selects one player per round until their roster is full).

Frankly, I don't know or care enough to Live Draft, so its Autopick for me. To each his own.

Money makes it interesting.....Its my first time and I'll be in for any amount of $ up to $100
I like 1st, 2nd, and 3rd idea...
