Love the Intrepid. Capt and crew are top notch. Food is the best it has ever been...5 stars 5 meals a day.
The trip was a 14 day. We started out at Alijos for a half day and a great wahoo bite. From there we went to the Hurricane bank and then onto Clarion where I caught the one in the picture.

How would you compare it to the Indy, for example?

Yah late spring to around dec is always 7 day trips. I checked the schedule last week and they don't have anything for April posted just yet. It'll be interesting to see if they do a couple 2 days out of Pedro. The partners of that boat actually own part of 22nd street landing from what I understand.
Here is a pic I snapped a couple weeks back when I was having dinner at the landing....

I can't give an honest opinion since I have never been out on the Indy.
I've been out a dozen or so times on the Excel and RRIII and I haven't been back since my first trip on the Intrepid few years ago.

On a 14 day what does that give you at hurricane and Clarion 2-3 days fishing?
Does the boat make stops on the way up the line like at Guadeloupe or any other spots?
