Helping a friend pick a ring

The jeweler asked how payment would be made and the old man stated, ‘by check. I know you need to make sure my check is good, so I’ll write it now and you can call the bank Monday to verify the funds and I’ll pick the ring up Monday afternoon,’ he said.

Monday morning, the jeweler phoned the old man..

‘There’s no money in that account.’

‘I know,’ said the old man, ‘But let me tell you about my weekend!’

Men!!! Some of them will say anything to get what they want.

Nice try...but, you're not gonna convince me it's the girls fault...people can't go around being liars and blaming the person who believed them and justify their actions.

It was clearly love she was after, and not just a big fancy ring and the old guy's money... puh-leeze! Girls are worse than guys when it comes to making up bullshit to get what they want.
