Actually I even posted on rdp that I wish the best for you and your site. You will see me log in jus to be able to see most recent post , but will return to being a lurker .

I am not a social media person other than rdp and Pinterest and another boat site , I am a dummy with a smart phone 

I think Bob is basically right. You go where the content is. This site is called Hot Boat, but to me it's a little soft in the Hot Boating dept. I think sponsoring events is a good idea and I would bet many people check in with this site after seeing the displays banners and moho vinyl only to find very little.
