If you ever have a chance to go into a federal court house, you should go. It's very different than state court. There's no line, no crowds and the Marshals are in suits. You have to show ID and take off your shoes in the LA court house lol...they're always surprised when I take my shoes off and they can't see me over the counter any more. 😁 The court rooms are beautiful as is the building. It's almost like a museum.

I find the legal system very fascinating and interesting, however I hope to never visit a Federal court room unless I'm a juror, lol. 😀
Thanks for the educative post! 😉

I hear it turns out good when it is cooked in one of those wood boxes.....
Wellllllllllllllllllllll, it was all PRE done by my neighbor... He carved off the chops/loin and shoulders off of three pigs and then carved/roasted the rest on a big all wood cooker... THEN he finished it with sauce in electric roasters, I think he estimated 150lbs of pig that he roasted...
This was his third year for the neighborhood gathering, good times...

Have you had one cooked in the ground? Not sure if it's done everywhere, but popular in SW.

The whole roast pig that I have had was short on flava IMHO, I like spices/smoke flavor in my sweet pig...

Im going to counter your PUMPKIN PIE with some APPLE PIE... Saturday night's pig roast was off the hook but the temps were low so I had to warm up my apple pie in the microwave... I have to admit, some fireball would add a VERY nice touch to the flava...
Attachment 47476
OK, it isnt baaaaaad with the fireball but... I will stick with my original recipie... HOT mug of apple cider (1.5 minutes in the microwave) and one super long pour of honey wild turkey... I did one standard shot of the fireball and one honey wild turkey into a coffee mug of hot apple cider which was good but I would say MORE wild turkey and less fireball would be worth trying...
