    Yes. Right across the bay from us. It was bad. The chemical smell in the air burned the hell out of my throat and eyes. They evacuated us to one of the offices for a few hours then let us go finally. I can smell it at my house right now too. I didn't take any pics but others have some. I'll try and get some later.

    Wow. Was it just the dock that burned or were there containers there as well that went up? I heard there are air quality warnings in Pedro and LB today.

    That dock was used for break bulk cargo. Steel beams and wire rod type stuff mostly. It's a really old dock with a lot of history. Apparently a spark from a welder started it. The pylons under the dock are wood and are treated with something to preserve them and that was the chemical that was burning. Smell was horrible. It was actually burning under the dock since it was all built with wood. Flames were crazy.

    That smoke cloud headed straight at us last night. By 7:30 we were locked down in an office. The smell was bad. Burning eyes and your nose and throat. I didn't leave that office to go home till 11:00.
