I had just over 10K on my last set of Grapplers and they still looked brand new when I sold the truck. Rotate every 3K and air pressure is the key.
Hard to beat the miles you can get out of the BFG’s but they are just too hard to keep balanced.

I like the Nitto's, but I think they're too agressive for 99% freeway use. Maybe the Geo's.
Maybe slicks on the back and have a little fun in the Keys 
Nitto has a road tire called the Dura Grappler. I have not used them so don't know about mileage.
Personally, for long mileage I like Michelins, but I don't think they have anything over 33". They don't pick up stones very much either.
