My definition of creeping is when you are interested in learning something about someone i.e. What did NB's boat look like bf the upgrades. So I went to his profile and read through his posts to find a pic.

My definition of stalking is when someone uses the Internet as a means to follow what someone does on a frequent basis. i.e. Continuously reads threads to keep tabs on someone. Not so much for entertainment purposes but to actually know what that person is doing. The most awkward ones are those who pretend they are never on HB but know things that they would only know if they were stalking on HB.
