Thinking of pulling the trigger in a Hero 3+ black today.
Is there any reason for me to not get it?
Looks like QVC got a deal that comes with mounts and other crap.

Link isn't working for me, but you can't go wrong with a GoPro. How much?

Exactly, however, do I need photoshop and premier elements software?
Im new to this so not sure what i need in relation to software. I have a Mac Book Pro so I know Imovie is on it. Not sure if that helps or not.

Not really unless you plan on digging deep into editing photos or graphics. iMovie will work fine for putting together videos, that's what I've used for a majority of the videos I've made. You can also download an app, can't remember the name right now, to edit photos further in iPhoto.
