Angelina's is my favorite Italian place.....we do go to Dolce Vita as well, but only when Angelina's is packed and we can't get in quickly.

Cha-Bones definitely has the best steaks in town......and you will pay dearly for them, even by So Cal standards.

I like Makai for breakfast due to the location, Red onion if good too but sitting outside in the channel trumps the food for me.

For me the best food in town comes off my grill in the back yard and there's never a problem getting a reservation

I'll have to check it out, when I drive down McCulloch Blvd I always see people sitting outside.

I think Shugrus is overrated. Cha bones is pretty good. Red Onion has good food, but poor service (always a long wait for your food). The layout is awkward too. Black Bear and Juicy's are good for breakfast. I like going to Heat and having Javalina Cantina deliver food to the bar. I've never waited longer than 15 mins for them to deliver. I'd rather bring some good steaks from home and BBQ. I go to the river to get away from city life. I'm not huge on hitting all the bars and restaurants every weekend. I want to be away from people.
