By live you mean it doesn't have a detonator? Or you think it is one of the 20% that are duds?

The problem with explosives is they become unstable over time. Changes in pressure, temperature, the sun shining on it and heating part of it up, are all potential sources of detonation. Anything older with glycerin based explosives are really bad news. I think I'd put it down and call someone to come deal with it. Especially when you couple in the fact that possession of it is a Felony and causes all kinds of problems with domestic terrorism charges.

Well, I paddled with it for 5 miles and planned on bringing it home but after talking to Mrs. Daytona I realized that if I did I wouldn't have a home to bring it to. I didn't call the police because last time I was there for 4+ hours. I left it on the beach....someone will find it where I left it.
