We need to get this Site back on track... Final Stage

Well, I pulled the beast out of the boat again this weekend... Getting a new EFI harness made for her today... I think the light at the end of the tunnel is finally starting to shine....

The stress level is starting to diminish and happy days are soon ahead....

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out and smokin, shouting "Holy Shit ...What A Ride!"

    Thanks Eli

I've done some and I've had some done by a few shops...

It kind of turned out to be a cluster as I was trying to get r done in a certain time frame. I called in some favors but all it did was delay the final stage... Lessons learned for sure....

Only one shop will touch her after the final stage is done...

When she is all said and done I will post up some numbers...

right now she dyno'd at 1025HP and 1012 ft lbs of torque.

I can't wait to run her when the final tune is complete

Nice!! A lot of work, getting all that together.
What is the clear (filter?) hooked to? At first I thought it was a Clear View oil filter, but I see its different.

It is a 572ci Merlin tall deck, Grumpy Jenkins heads running 9-10lbs of boost on 91 octane. I will put some AFR heads on her in the future and bump up the boost to get 1100+ HP if I want more power but as it sits with a really fat tune I am cruising 70-72mph, 3800 rpms at 21% throttle... :-).

The clear canister is my power steering filter. I am running the Hardin Marine billet serpentine system on her.

The whole front pulley, power steering pump, alternator, and sea pump are all on a billet bracket that comes off in one piece. No alignment problems with the accessories, just had to make a .125 spacer for the crank pulley for the blowers. It is pretty bad ass!
