So sad just read on FB. Kidney failure. RIP Professpr
I still watch that show on late night TV.
Heard something about making a movie about it as well.
ahh so sad
89, that is pretty darn good... I hope he was comfortable and went peacefully... Nice long life...
My daughter and I watch Gilligans Island on METV, she is just now learning all of the words to the song... We sing it together, its amazing how the lyrics come back magically to my mind after all those years... :)
Still never understood why they could build radios, houses, etc......but could never patch a hole in a boat.
I just read " Unbroken" and am always so impressed by what the the WW2 airmen did. I didn't know the professor was a B 24 crewmember- pretty cool
The Professor was my hero! Why? Because I just KNEW he was nailing BOTH Ginger and Mary Ann on the side!
I mean , who else would? Giligan? That's a laugh...Skipper? Tub O' lard..don't think so...Mr. Howell? Old creepy, not so much. Yep, the Prof was gettin' it all back in the day!
At least that's how it went in my head.
Crap, I just realized I'm old.
Damn....the Professor was very cool dude.....I saw him interviewed a number of times in later years and he was a great guy!!
Godspeed !!
So long professor!!
Wonder if he ever really tagged Mary Ann?
