Get an electric staple gun, one staple either side of the light, one in the middle in between them. For icicle lights, one every six to eight inches, stretch the cable tight with each staple so there is no slack. I went at the end of the day so I got the last of what was left. So here's my Charlie Brown tree.
My grandparents moved from Youngstown Ohio to Hawaii (before residing in So Cal) when they were 18 because my grandfather joined the service and was stationed there. My grandmother bought these hand made ornaments from some lady in O'ahu for their first Christmas tree and gave them to me last year.
